What is Y2k Fashion?
Y2k Fashion translates as Year 2000s fashion -which was a trend of clothing for late 90s-mid 2000s. Period when barbie dolls, capitalism & teenage movies came on scene. Showing up too much of everything was a actual trend, too glamour, too rich, too young to care about anything, girl with a pink sunglasses on, dreamy and pinky!
Here we are in 2022 watching all sorts of fashion tendencies. Due to the rapid return of Y2K & 2000s fashion back in trends here is our brief review of this era aesthetic. Some of us deeply love artistic endeavors of that time and some of us just don`t realize yet the postpostmodern approach to appreciation of the Y2K appeal, sometimes ironic and sometimes sweetly nostalgic.
